One block off Ocean Avenue, we are a few houses down from Cape Arundel Inn and Walkers Point--home of President and Mrs. Bush. It is a ten minute walk to The Breakwater, Mabel's Lobster Claw, and The Colony, and a ten minute drive to Kennebunk and Goose Rocks white sand beaches.
The one acre landscaped yard is private and perfect for children. The stone terrace and two decks have ocean views, and there is a hot tub in an intimate fenced garden at the back of the house.
The main floor has a living room with an 8-foot fireplace, dining room, sun filled eat-in kitchen with propane wood stove, a bar, laundry room, and a screened porch. There is a wood-paneled bedroom on the first floor with its own half bathroom. An octagonal sunroom leads out to the terrace and the front lawn with a small pond beyond.
The second-floor has the master suite with two fireplaces, sitting room, bathroom, and a king bedroom leading to a small enclosed porch as well as a private covered deck with views of the ocean.
There are three additional bedrooms on the second floor: one is a large queen bedroom with its own bathroom and fireplace, and views of the water. An additional king bedroom and another queen bedroom share a hall bathroom.
The third floor has more (twin/queen) bedrooms and another full bathroom. There is an open-air deck with cushioned benches and 270° views of the ocean and Cape Arundel. There is a mini kitchen/bar adjacent to the deck to store snacks and beverages nearby.
Finally, there is an upstairs family room with a pool table, leather couches, and a flatscreen TV and a fitness area on the first floor.
